Build the payment

Select quick products or enter the final amount from your existing till. Zahlo creates the basket total and a unique reference.

Customer approves

They scan the QR with their existing banking app. Your bank details, amount and payment reference are already complete.

Customer shows confirmation

After approving the transfer, the customer shows their banking-app confirmation to the merchant.

Mark it as paid

The merchant taps Mark as Paid in Zahlo. Zahlo stores the payment record; the existing till issues the official receipt.

THE PRACTICAL
QUESTIONS.

Do customers need the Zahlo app?

No. They scan and pay with a compatible banking app. Zahlo does not require a separate customer account for the payment.

What hardware do I need?

A smartphone with internet access. Zahlo can also run on a tablet, but there is no card reader or dedicated Zahlo terminal to purchase.

Does Zahlo hold my funds?

No. The payment moves directly from the customer’s bank account to the business account you connect.

Does Zahlo replace my cash register?

No. Zahlo sits beside the existing register. Your till remains responsible for the official receipt, tax record and German register compliance.
